Command the Room, Sis! is designed for mid-level women who already have experience and professional contributions they can point to as part of their case for promotion. So while I think it would be good for you to be around women like this, you might gotta sit this one out, my entry-level friends.

Nope! This program is open to women of all backgrounds. However, Command the Room, Sis! is designed specifically for Black and Brown women. So as long as you’re comfortable being in a space that prioritizes those perspectives and learning alongside the women this program was built for, you’re more than welcome.

Because: ❌ For every 100 men promoted from entry-level to manager, only 73 women of color get that first promotion. ❌ For every 100 men promoted to manager, only 58 Black women were promoted—even though Black women ask for promotions at the same rate as men. ❌ Black women make up a small share of managers (around 4–5% in some U.S. data) ❌ Just 1 in 16 C‑suite leaders are women of color overall ❌ Nearly half of Black women (about 49%) say their race or ethnicity will make it harder to get a raise or promotion, compared with 3% of white women. ❌ For every 100 men promoted from entry level to manager, only about 65–74 Latinas get that promotion, depending on the data set and year. ❌ Latinas are roughly 5% of entry-level employees but only 1% of C‑suite executives. ❌ About 1 in 4 C‑suite leaders are women, but only 1 in 16 are women of color. ❌ In a large study of a global financial services firm, managers systematically downgraded employees of color more harshly than white employees when converting self-ratings into final performance ratings ❌ More than 1 in 4 Black women have heard someone at work express surprise at their language skills or abilities; for white women it’s 1 in 10. ❌ About 54% of Black women say they are often the only or one of the only Black people in the room at work, which increases scrutiny and pressure and is linked to higher burnout and attrition. ❌ 38% of senior-level women mentor or sponsor at least one woman of color, compared to 26% of senior-level men, meaning a lot of the support work that should help women of color advance is being carried by women already. ❌ Among 598 tribes in the National Congress of American Indians, only about 20% of tribal leaders were women as of 2015 ❌ In the U.S. federal workforce, American Indian and Alaska Native women are 0.9% of the permanent workforce, but only 0.6% of supervisors, 0.7% of managers, and 0.4% of executives ❌ Asian women are 1 in 15 women in entry-level roles but only 1 in 50 women in the C‑suite THAT'S WHY BLACK & BROWN WOMEN. Plan for about 2–3 hours per week, including the live sessions and the exercises you’ll complete as you build your business case for promotion.

Command the Room, Sis! runs on a rolling cohort model. When your application is approved, you'll get immediate access to the portal and all materials. Your first live session will be the next scheduled call on the calendar.

Yes. The strategies in this program apply whether you’re pursuing promotion internally or moving into a higher-level role somewhere else.

We’ll first figure out what the path to promotion looks like in your current organization and how to position you for it. If that path doesn’t exist or you're finding too much resistance from your leadership team, I'll help you plan your exit strategy.

Yes. To make sure everyone has space to participate and receive meaningful feedback during our live sessions, enrollment is capped at 50 participants in the program at any given time. Once the program reaches capacity, new enrollments will be paused until space becomes available.

No worries. All sessions are recorded and uploaded to the portal, so you can watch the replay anytime. You’ll also have access to the curriculum, materials, and recordings for a full year.

Command the Room, Sis! is not a membership or month-to-month subscription. If you choose the payment plan, you’re committing to the full program investment and all remaining payments. Refunds are available within 48 hours of your first payment. After that, we’re in this together for the full six months. After 48 hours, all sales are final and any remaining payments are still owed, regardless of participation. If something unexpected comes up, reach out and we can discuss possible options on a case-by-case basis.
